ABOUT ME
MY STORYCandice Dobkousky is a Los Angeles-based Costume Designer with 25 years of multi-faceted experience in costume design and fashion styling. Candice gained experience working on features and then designing several television shows.
She welcomes the task of creating any type of style necessary for the current project. A great design, in her opinion, is more than just a rough sketch or a pretty picture; it’s a combination of the screenplay, character research, and communication with the cast and the director. Candice is also a member of the Costume Designers Guild and currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
As a costume designer, for over 12 years in children’s programming, she has had ample opportunity to create a multitude of costumes within so many types of genres. Candice has designed costumes from superheroes to fantasy, and contemporary, even creating a world between modern and medieval in a series called Knight Squad. Throughout her entire career, she has showed consistent success by using her talent to achieve high-reaching standards and goals. She will bring a passion for problem-solving and an expertise for innovation through teamwork.
